And in temperatures below freezing, without enough screenwash.....they can freeze open! Which looks stupid. They remind me of r2d2's head.

My dear daughter got her scooter out of the boot 54 plate accord saloon. Closed it and left the keys in. Fortunately through a tiny gap in the window, we managed to get the door to unlock. :/ Not the best security feature!

This used to happen in my old civic type r. The solution in that was just to push and hold the button down for 2-3 seconds. Have to admit though, it's never done it in my wife's accord. Or my new civic. I Remember in fords of winsford it did it as we were collecting it, the guy came back...
