thanks Matt disconnect of the battery and reconnect seems to have sorted it. I did a bit of testing while i was at it and it seems that with the doors unlocked by the fob the internal sensor was still active so i reseated the connector while i was at it.

Just went out to the car and pressed the unlock on the keyfob and the alarm went off

Just did a quick check on my car to make sure there was no recall for the airbags and it came up with two other recalls
accord stabiliser bar & bush (is this front or back anyone know)
the other was for the headlight clips which ive read about and seems fairly pointless
Hello has anyone out there replaced the exhaust system on the accord tourer with anything but the OEM part.
I have done some digging and cant find a non OEM part
It almost looks cheaper to have a stainless system made.

Thanks that would be great mines be doing it on and of for 4 months I replaced the rear anti roll bar rubbers and it quietened down then i got new front tyres and the reduced road noise from the front which might have just made me more sensitive to the noise.

Glad you got there in the end. I have still to do this just cant decide if its the bearing or not that the noise is coming from but ive changed the discs,pads and had to replace the rear calipers they where in bad shape.
Is the noise like loud tyre noise that seems worse at about 20 to 30...
