Thanks mate for your help, i am going to get the manual tensioner and new belt done after xmas, will get the ballance belt removed at same time.Im thinking of getting the head gasket done also just for piece of mind really.

Im loving the atr and sfter 9 scoobs that i done most of the work myself i dont want to do the belt on the atr same as i never done it to the scoobs, i have a great guy so will peak to him about doing the belt and tnsioner for me. Will need to find that how to tho as want the car back to...

its got 129k on it and paperwork says belt was done around 120k, not sure if auto tensioner was done then tho as will need to check.Is there a how to on the vc's mate?

Well i aint doing this stuff myself but my atr is starting to sound a bit funny like auto tensioner going as sounds a bit tappy ?? its hard to say what it sounds like lol Do you have a manual tensioner on yours and do these need adjusted alot or so on ??
