I don't support similar theory...and it is easy to check it by start/stop engine without filter at all...

Probably not all engine mountings change are roadside job, but it's good first make sure which one (or if) needs to be changed which is mechanic job.

Oil...never read about it for knocking. Most probably would be engine mounts.

You don't need to remove spare tyre. First remove back plastic on the boot inside. Then unbutton right hand side panel cover, the alarm is there.

To use the car stop alarm first. Remove cover in the boot (driver side) and disconnect alarm plug. Check alarm battery inside as well. After all find sequence pressing fob buttons to stop alarm (I don't remember how, read forum). If you find how to do it you can try stop it without disconnect plug.

You can put dry paper or similar on/in suspicious places to find out where water is coming from...

Try to use original cable because some cameras require special one (two of pins in plug are bridged)

Did you have idling problems after that? Many people mention, after throttle body cleaning needs relearn throttle procedure and some times it's not successful...

Many high pressure hose companies (Google) can make new cheap hose but they want old one to use original metal parts.
