I might have to look at the sharing option. It basically sounds like the tappets are loose as hell but I would have thought they were hydraulic and therefore self adjusting. Guessing there though.

We have a 2005 Honda Accord Vtec Executive A, Petrol, 2354cc. Automatic. It has started to occasionally rev quite high when stationary such that I can't get it in reverse. Sometimes it does that but at other times is ok. Any idea what that could be??
