Was thinking of putting the pipe from fuel filter inlet to outlet pipes, to act as a bypass.

I still have this problem and have searched for air leaks to no avail, I was thinking of putting in a small piece of pipe to eliminate the ff and connection's, just wondering if this will cause an over pressure at the fuel rail or cause any damage to any sensor's etc, do you think it would be...

Thanks jon, I think that you maybe right, unfortunately it wont drive, will try and look at a few other things I guess.

Right.....I decided to put the battery on charge overnight to eliminate any low voltage problems. I then cleared the codes and while I was under the bonnet gave the bleed pump a couple of squeezes, it was fairly solid so 2 pumps were all that was needed. Spun the engine which fired instantly...
