    Brake Bleeding - Mityvac

Thanks for your input salim. I bled the heck out of the brakes starting from front left, front right, rear R, rear L (as per a blueprint I found online). Went round a few times and brakes are feeling nice and solid. Had my dad working the brakes (fast hard press and slow ones and he sure did the...

Anyone know how to:clean/unclog cylindwrs with acetone!

Hey. Just as per topic ***le really. In the massive (and arguably-almost ugly) thread started by Steve where Littlebo and Freddofrog share many opinions (differences of!), littlebo mentioned how he unclogged some cylinders with acetone cos the previous owner was a "Sunday driver". I plan on...

Decent Bodyshop for arches rust cutout/cure

Hi all. Just thought I would put it out there. Any suggestions on a good but cheap (if thats possible) bodyshop to sort my bubbling/rust. Not sure how deep it is and I wouldn't mind a frankenstein job (welded metal in with edges of weld apparent!!) as long as the colour is blended in properly...

Around 3cm in total (divided into 3 or 4 spots of it) and i just want to coat it with something to inhibit any further rust. So far I just use some bike chain wax but wondered if people...

    Seized near side caliper/piston

The answer to that q from is: if you were to push it back in then you'd need to ensure you open your reservoir lid. However if you mean to push the piston fully out theb the answer would again be no unless there was a leak or hole in the system. Its due to the same principles used in syphoning...

    Seized near side caliper/piston

Please may i ask a question on the same subject. My rear calipers have been siezed in the past. Every half a year or so I have just been working them back in (and out). But now one of the seals is fully naffed so i pulled it off and threw some grease around the piston to protect from water...

    Beam pattern

Yeah. That pattern defo looks odd. I think i know what you've done as I had a long troubleshoot whilst noticing that lights looked like they weren't on (alternstor replacement and bulbs replaced and fuses done)... Something tells me that when you fitted one of them you ended up putting the...
