Drivers side mirror indicator light | How to fit

Thanks Brett, All that was needed in the end was a flat screwdriver (helped release the clips behind the mirror) and a philips screwdriver (to take the screws off) once the mirror was off. Took me an hour but I should have done it in 30mins, messed up a little putting everything back together...

Drivers side mirror indicator light | How to fit

Hello to you all, The lens for my drivers side mirror indicator light has cracked. I have ordered a new one which should arrive tomorrow. Any idea from anyone on how I can fit it? As I understand I need to remove the mirror but not sure where to start. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Slight rev drop on hard accelerating.

I have just got back from the Honda dealers and they have said that the clutch is most likely the problem. The way they tested it was that they took the car up to about 60 mph in 5th gear and from there the revs would rise and then suddenly drop, they therefore came to the conclusion that the...

Slight rev drop on hard accelerating.

Cheers for replying guys, I did indeed get back in touch with the garage straight away and I have booked it in, in 2 weeks time. Noticed the issue a day before I went on holiday, typical

Slight rev drop on hard accelerating.

Hi I know this is an old thread but this is currently happening on my vehicle (but whenever the revs go over 3k, except in neutral) and my honda warranty is due to expire in 2 weeks! Did you find any conclusion to this problem? I should also mention that the car has just had a level 4 service...

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

You could carry the bottle on you if you don't want to put it into the boot, that way it won't be as ebarrassing

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

I would have thought putting it in then driving to the petrol station is not advisable as this would mess up the oil to petrol ratio. It doesn't take long tbh so just pop it in at the forecourt and fill up. I have a 500ml sized bottle which I will keep in the boot, this will be enough for around...

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

Thanks Brett I purchased some 2s oil from Tesco they have them on offer at half price at the moment (£2.46 for a ltr bottle). So if anyone is thinking of trying this experiment they might want to pop down to a local tesco.

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

Hi guys I filled up the accord yesterday with some diesel and the car has run about 50 miles. Is it okay to add some 2s oil to it now or should I wait till the next fill up? Also in future should I add the oil first then fill up the car with diesel or does it not really matter. Cheers

    Penta alloy wheels

Cheers guys I just purchased a set off ebay with tyres included for 150 quid which wasn't bad I thought...just need to get a couple of the alloys refurbed due to bubbling. Do you guys know of any garages that can do this? I want to keep the original gun metal colour going if I can.

    Penta alloy wheels

Sorry if this is a silly question...but I guess that is why we have this forum :D I am looking to purchase some penta alloys off a accord tourer 04 and get them fitted on my 56 accord salon. Any issues with this? I didn't want to put the cash down and find they don't fit something.

    Oil filter

I just got off the phone to Hendy Honda in Portsmouth and they told me that I do not need to change the oil every 6k miles. The person on the phone was adamant that every 12.5k was enough and doing interim oil changes on a Honda does nothing to preserve the life of the engine. That can't be...

    Oil filter

Thank you for your help guys - much appreciated, In that case I think I will just purchase a genuine Honda one. Now I just have to decide if I should do it myself or to get a garage to do it. Cheers
