Mines got 163k
Just an update since my last post back in 2017
I still have the Accord and its now passed 260,000 miles last week.
Recent repairs include
-New Upper control arm (driver side) worn bush)
-Upper power steering hose leak (remove and replace) - common issue on our cars
-Lower power steering cooler (rusted and perished)
Thats it.
Still has the original turbo/exhaust/clutch/DMF/timing chain/Wheel bearings
Keep on trucking!
Due to the ULEZ expansion next year in Aug 2023 the Accord may have to go.
Such a shame as its still a great car to drive and can easily achieve 60mpg. (around 70 mpg in the summer months)
It has never let me down and always starts every morning to go to work.
I have no idea what to replace it when the times comes that is ULEZ complaint and can do similar MPG.
Lexus IS300h perhaps? So expensive though

My Type S Tourer is on 253,000 and still going strong! Had her on a track recently!
Surely Honda already have something up their sleeve that is ULEZ compliant, though it may not be in these waters quite yet.

I would be interested to know if yours is still plowing on...
Mine 2010 Honda accord GT 2.2 dtec diesel engine has 257000 miles or just over 410000 kilometres and still doesn't burn a drop of oil. And 55.3mpg .Whose got the highest mileage Accord?
Mines got 68000 miles on the clock and has only just run in!
I'm on just over 113k and I've only had it 2 weeks. It's an amazing car, and drives like a new car!Whose got the highest mileage Accord?

I'm new to Accords and have one with 113k. I'd like to keep it forever! Do you use diesel additives to your fuel? If so, what ones and how often? My 2004 i-ctdi is currently on 231,000, ive had to replace many little bits over the years but nothing really major yet. Want to do an egr clean next.
Ive had it fail on emissions most years when I first got the car but have learnt how to clean it out now before the mot.
Hi, no not really, very occasionally ill put in Wynn's extreme cleaner and before the mot I've used cataclean a few times ( also had it fail with cataclean)I'm new to Accords and have one with 113k. That's really useful thanks.Hi, no not really, very occasionally ill put in Wynn's extreme cleaner and before the mot I've used cataclean a few times ( also had it fail with cataclean)
More importantly I change my oil twice a year and fuel filter once a year. It's important to use the OEM fuel filter and I use 0-30 fully synthetic. Engines been a peach so I don't really see the need for too many cleaners.
