Oops. Forgot to say. Cleared the faults down this evening and then re-checked but no fault codes came back..... have I done something wrong??? Tried starting car again to see if it would register them but still nothing lol....... ?????? Gary

OK. Been and got my fuel filter from Honda who also said for me to call Kent Diesel. which I did and they said for me to take the pipe off the end of the rail (end which has the bolt) and crank it over... Now the good bit is I cannot remember what next lol.. Cant remember if it was fuel out the...

Im in Wickford..... All put back together again lol. Will get filter for weekend hopefully and have a tackle of it.... going to clear the faults off tonight when I get home and then see if the same faults come back and hopefully lessen the burden of trying to sort out the sticky fuel pump...

Hi Jon_G. Thanks for the heads up. Will clear the faults tomorrow night if I get a chance (work is getting in the way) and report back. No the fuel is free flowing all the way through to the fuel pump. Whats happening after the pump is anyones guess lol. but what I get out is clean and free...

Hi Everyone OK. got pipes off filter this evening and managed to pump fuel through filter right away so blockage up to filter output. also took pipe off the fuel pipe and fuel came out there too. so I know fuel is getting to the pump. the filter looks orginal. but cannot confirm 100% unless I...

Would I be able to get the exit pipe off the filter without removal so I can check if fuel coming though via the priming pump??? Cheers Gary

well. had car serviced 4 months back so should of had a new filter.... Prob a non real one though. Will get that changed at weekend. yep. got 1/4 tank of fuel and will deff do the pipe off and pump priming bulb to see what happens. but will have to wait till daylight or weekend...... Cheers Gary

Yep 05 tourer. Have got a diagnostic reader being delivered tomorrow off the bay or E. Will go to Honda and get filter tomorrow. any other suggestions are greatly accepted..... and needed lol. Gary

OK. Bit of an update. Mate suggested I disconnect battery and prime fuel filter using bulb.... Didn't think It would do much and it didn't but did spot that glow plug coil light on dash was flashing. And it was flashing before I took battery off. but didn't put 2 and 2 together..... doh

Hi Guys Thanks for the replys. Silly Question..... Short of it sating so, how will I know if if I have a genuine Fuel Filter. And..... Do you mean pump the priming pump above the filter to get the air out... Have done that already till it goes hard to pump all to no avail. Will go to Honda...

Hi Guys Went away for 2 weeks holiday and when I came back I went to see if the car would start. Got in turned key and hey presto it ran. rev'd the engine twice (as you do lol) and it died. Never to start again..... Obviously it started with fuel that was already up past the filter... Found...
