    Generally when the car is running you should get 14 volts (this is true for any car with an alternator) This would indicate that the alternator is working and charging the battery.

    Starting problem

    How about the fuel pressure relief valve? Common on these engines to go. Symptom of this would be difficult start when engine is hot. Loads of threads on it.

    I use a foxwell NT630 code reader which reads ABS sensor faults on our cars aswell as OBD engine codes Very handy bit of kit. It has saved me so much hassle on numerous occasions. Well worth the investment.

    Welcome to the forum Stick to genuine Honda OEM filters for the diesel. The diesel engines are very fussy and after market filters will cause running issues, Especially the fuel filter. Always get genuine Honda.
