    Rear bumper reflector part number?

Its item 3 and 4 on the below parts explosion diagram link depending if its left or right. Not cheap. Whining power steering '05 CDTi

It is not known for power steering pumps to go on these cars. They are generally reliable and not aware of any known issues. I have heard if non honda power steering fluid is used in the past this may have long term effects and possibly damage the pump, not so sure how true this is though...

Now the rear Wheel Bearing is playing up

What model of accord have you got? Most rear wheel bearings are a full ***embly so no machine press is needed. Usually a bolt on change over. If 7th Gen - saloon https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/honda-shop/genuine-honda-accord-rear-wheel-bearing-2003-2008/ Not sure on the tourer. You might...

Possible bearing on the way out?

Common issue on the ictdi Accords. As mentioned, remove the idler pulley and go for the shorter belt. The longer belt and the idler pulley causes excess stress on the bearings inside the alternator. How many miles has your Accord done? Its done well to last this long. You will also have to...

    Flat battery

If your handy with a multimeter you can perform the fuse pull out test. Set the multimeter to current measuring mode and connect it inline with the car battery. Measure the current with the car off (or in the state where you think the excess draw is occurring) and pull out every fuse to see if...

    Too many miles to remap?

Mine is at 172k miles and still drives spot on although never had mine remapped. Agreed, 125k miles is nothing for these engines, its psychological in many peoples minds that when an engine reaches the magical 100k mark its dead. lol. When in fact its totally the opposite. Always budget in a...

    Flashing glow plug light

Has any work been performed on the car recently. i.e. fuel filter change? how have you confirmed that the fault is low pressure? Have you had the codes read? Could be a poorly fitted fuel filter which could explain low fuel pressure? Check all sensors are properly connected to the fuel filter...

    Oil extractor pump

It is a pretty good bit of kit but definitely not something to entirely replace in draining the oil the usual way. I would always drain the oil on extended intervals. Granted some cars dont have this option and not everyone can jack a car up where they live, i.e. on a busy main road etc. I've...
