Fair play to you. Its just that on non-turbo cars you need the back pressure. Not sure of the figures for the 1.8 or 2.0 Accord. I know that it gives a tiny gain on the H series though. But it does sound good lol. And you'll defiantly see a freer revving car. Just not sure if as it decreases...

The belts aren't known to snap no, but the tensioners do fail. Iirc the belt should changed at 70k. Might be worth getting the VCs done, defo worth cleaning the plate and valve, then maybe getting the belt and tensioner done. But I think if you get the clearances done, the noise should quieten.

That'll be your VCs mate. Get them sorted and the noise will vanish. Also while you're there a quick couple of things to do : remove and clean dizzy cap, remove HT leads and check condition too. Also check plug condition. Have you done the EGR valve and plate clean? *edit* also when was...

Do you mean hids? If not then Phillips are great. I used to have them in my old 6th and lasted the life of the car.

Anything will fit with some modification. Little round ones would but you'd have to fabricate a surround to hold them in place. They're really rare to find but it's worth keepin an eye out, they do pop up every now and again.

Is it the pedal or the brakes themselves?

If the frequency of the noise does not increase with the revs then it's not your VCs. It's hard to describe a sound, but can you think of something it's like? Like a spoon on an empty can or nails tapping on a worktop? Or more low like feet on the floor.

Get some Eibachs. That is my honest advice. The handling improvement is great, the look even better, and the ride is in no way ruined.

Freer revving, better sound, not a real change in MPG be theoretically if you drive normally you should see a really small gain.
