    Ball joint nuts

Nylocks can strip https://www.ehow.co.uk/how_6522074_remove-stripped-lock-nut.html And threadlocking your car suspension - don't try this at home folks!

    Ball joint nuts

Personally I wouldn't use threadlock on a nut that needs to be removed from time to time - it's just storing trouble up for later!

    Ball joint nuts

Don't blame you! Nylock could strip.

    Knocking from Rear of Tourer

The tester will only object if there's serious deterioration in the bushes or something could become detached, not just if there's a little bit of movement.

    Wheel Size/comfort

The handbook doesn't recommend a load rating, which is all about weight as it says on the tin. I looked into it when I had my 7th Gen Tourer, and came to the conclusion that it was borderline whether to use XLs or not, depending on who or what you had in the car with you. I went for them on the...

    2.2 i-ctdi 2007 Engine Oil Flush

No they don't need it, just use a good quality oil for the change. This one is well regarded on TypeAccord https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EXOL-SYNTHETIC-0W30-ENGINE-OIL-ACEA-A5-B5-TRUSTED-BRAND-NAME-PRODUCT-HONDA-BMW/272556915520?epid=651996673&hash=item3f75a87b40:g:nMUAAOSwDYdcEnK0

    Rust

That's not why I suggested you leave it. Unless you know exactly what you're doing, you'll make it worse in the long run by disturbing it. Guess how I know that ... :)

    Rust

You'll hear other suggestions, but mine is, leave well alone.

    Wheel Size/comfort

Yes mine were 300mm front and 282m rear. I'm on 17s now and the ride is harsher but up to you. I bought an extra set of OEM 16 rims for winter tyres for about £80 so worth waiting for the right deal.

    Wheel Size/comfort

Yes they do take 16s I had them on my 7th gen 2.4 EX Tourer - unless the S is different Presumably you want to get whatever spec tyres the handbook says you need otherwise if you have an accident your insurer will use that to get out of paying but from memory I think the handbook said they had...

    Wheel Size/comfort

I think you can only get the 55 profile on 16 inch wheels not 17 inch. You can get 94/XL/reinforced 205/55/16s, there are a few of them on the Blackcircles website. I've had both and the 16s are definitely a nicer ride.

Yep they all go into a half shaft on the driver's side.

    Suspension refresh

There are some threads on here about upgrading the front calipers to twin pot, if you don't fancy any more sphincter-loosening 'will she or won't she' moments.

    CL7 Snapped Driveshaft.

Great job, & when you get those arms and links on it will feel like you're driving a different car.

    CL7 Snapped Driveshaft.

Yup, and you'll need a 36mm socket to get the hub nut off, and a big hammer to separate the lower ball joint. Apart from that just normal socket set stuff.

    2.4 petrol battery

Yes the clamp definitely fits but not the housing. One or both the terminals (can't remember exactly) is the smaller Japanese size but it should come with post adapter(s).

    2.4 petrol battery

Yes these do fit the 7th and 8th Gen 2.4s. Better starting performance than my last OEM one which died the moment the 3 year warranty expired. I'm using one myself.

    Tourer Boot Water Leak

Honda put a drain hole in the wheel well but it gets blocked from underneath and is difficult to see. So they must have anticipated some 'natural' leakage.
