    Oil - Petrol Engine - 0w30 or 5w30

Honda recommend 0W20. The thinner the oil is is on cold startup the better, because that's when most engine wear happens. If you try it you won't go back to a 30 oil I promise you.

    Looking at buying 2.4

It'll need checking for good condition & history etc. I think the only unusual issue is the rusty sunroof but that isn't a deal breaker or even close. Reset reminders are switched off on a lot of the UK ones , not on with mine. Not aware of any transmssion issue - I think 75k might be the Honda...

    Looking at buying 2.4

Plugs, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, clutch fluid, probably pads & discs and maybe tyres all round, exhaust and flexi downpipe will be due to go if it hasn't already, anti roll bar drop links, lower control arm, driveshaft boots can go after 10+ years, ...there'll definitely be things...

    Looking at buying 2.4

I went from a 7th to an 8th gen 2.4. The downsides are you'll find it thirstier. But literally everything else is an upside. Do it. You will love it.

Sounds promising, main dealers are usually pretty good on customer service because they don't want you to go over their heads to Honda UK, but fingers crossed the real fault doesn't involve big money.

Super low MPG on Tourer '05 2.0 Auto

Sounds okay then, if it was a problem it would probably heat the wheels. Maybe just down to more city driving and winter cold being heavier on fuel. You could see if it improves when it warms up in Spring.

Yep if they're binding then the alloy wheel itself gets warm or hot - so feel for heat before touching!

    Creaking steering left

Best not go in guns blazing though, you don't want to fall out with your local main dealer! But hopefully they can put things right.

Do any of the wheels get hot from binding brakes?

    Creaking steering left

A creak you could understand as tension gets taken up and everything connects with everything else but clicks....not sure there's any up and down movement in a LCA when a car has stopped...what causes that? I agree with you, you asked for and paid for a diagnosis of this particular fault, and...

    Creaking steering left

Ah OK....did you mention that to them ?......not sure how it could ever have been ARB related if it happens when the car isn't moving.

I think clicking when turning can be a CV joint, but it can be a drop link too so it was a fair shout.

    Rear Caliper L/R

Try Brakes International for a Budweg refurbished one, they use OEM parts and you send them your old one to get your deposit back, but don't get a Budweg new caliper, they are not OEM.

    Accord Type S 2004 2.4L Subframe

One of the used car breakers on eBay will have one. Looks like the going rate is about £70.
