the electrical systems on accords are very sensitive, the tolerances on aftermarket alternators are much wider, so fitting one can cause electrical issues in other systems
sounds like a blocked rad to me, see this exact problem with the 1.4 Vauxhall engines all the time, the rads block in the middle, get a cheap laser temp gun and that'll show you where the blockage is
if you're doing the clutch, then change the flywheel at the same time, if its done 90k then it must be getting close, a new clutch on a worn flywheel will finish off the flywheel in no time and you'll have to do the job twice
i replaced both rear wheel bearings, both rear brake calipers and the rear drop links as i had a couple of noises from the rear end.

cps drivelink, i got in from PMA motorfactors, they originally sent me a NAPA drive shaft but the slop on that was worse than the original shaft i was taking off.
shafttech are another company that sell drive shafts but they are dog poo also.
