DIY - Brake discs and pads change 03+ (updated)

On the rears, you do need to push in the piston at the same time as you rotate it clockwise. Best to use a windback tool as this makes it much easier to twist and push in at the same time. As mentioned above, avoid using copper grease. Use ceratec grease - more friendly with rubber covers...

    1st MOT Fail

Wire brush all parts as mentioned above, then spray a coating of stone chip shield over to protect - Obviously avoid rubber covers etc. I have done this to all my cars. Keeps them looking new.

    wobbly steering..?

Jack the car up and check for movement on the joints. Grab the wheel at 12 and 6, wobble, 9 and 3 and wobble. There should be no movement. Could be lower ball joint - if it is this you want to get it replaced quickly - if it fails whilst driving, can be very dangerous.

Failed main front bushes 2.4 accord

These are common to fail. The part itself is reasonable from Honda - I would use genuine parts for this. Old bush needs to be pressed out, then new part pressed in. in. No more than 45 minutes a side I would guess. I need to do this on the CRV soon, just waiting for the weather to clear up.

DIY mate. Strip the caliper down, clean, grease and put back together. Don't ignore it. Last thing you want is the disc warping.
