seems like you have a sticky caliper, options are to refurb or replace i would not buy parts from euro car parts as many people have had issues

i used them to purchase refurbed calipers.
try reset first disconnect battery or remove tailgate fuse for 10mins with open tailgate, reconnect switch ignition on and close, failing that easiest way to test sensors and latch would be hds, does the boot make any beeps ?
Fair enough but this does not eliminate bad ground or break in wire. I would start at fuse and measure 12v on both sides in relation to ground then ground in place car in reverse and check for 12v

Guesswork does not go down well I suggest a mechanic who can use a multimeter would be able check continuity and voltage a bad ground can ensure bulb will not light up as well

As I said there has to be reverse switch either in gearbox or lever I am not sure on your model, but why did you just replace with out testing ?

As type r said pressure plate is warped that's why you have stiff pedal I fitted k tune clutch master and slave cylinder, clutch still stiff will be fitting new clutch with modified flywheel plate.
