Just got an issue with my petrol auto 2.4; it appears to stutter at low speeds at around 20 to 30mph, and soon clears fine, but wondering what could be causing the issue?

almost reminds me of my plastic pig (reliant robin); that was a pig to work in for sure!

after further investigation, I found the answer; it was the SatNav GPS 'Alert' function which was set to alert me when I was in my postcode area even though I had the SatNav unit turned off; anyway, turned it off in settings, and no more beeping!

wouldn't surprise me these days; nothings never what it appears to be when viewed in real life, and I could point to many big companies who try to pull the wool over our eyes to sell things!

knowing a diesel; as I've owned one, it would coke up far quicker than a dear Petrol, but for 10 years gunk build-up it's not disastrous, good job! ;)

to save the expense, I'd just take the tablet with a few movies in it!

yes, it's what I thought too, but from what I've read somewhere you can add a piece of kit to it to play DVD's!

@Stevearcade, have you managed to play any other DVD's in the system apart from the usual SatNav disc?

I just keep mine in (DVD Rom) as it doesn't interfere with the main CD changer which holds 6 CD's. It's a method that is still used in newer cars, and is a money spinner for Car manufacturer's as they do need updating every so often; if you can afford it! See if you can get the laser cleaned...

yes, the DVD has to remain in the the drive if you're using SatNav; it can also be upgraded by purchasing another disc, but it isn't cheap!

got me thinking about what's changed recently to possibly cause this issue, and I had my 2 key fobs reprogrammed last weekend, so perhaps whatever the locksmith did, has caused this?

never tried driving without the belt on, so not sure there!

golly, wish I'd kept my Audi A3 TDi DSG, it had everything except the leather!

I always disengage the brakes, and no red light displays, although it does work!

as far as I know, it doesn't have one, but comes on in series on beeps, so, unsure why; will try my tablet in it tomorrow and see if it picks up anything! The car's on a 53 plate.

so that would have been from 2006 onwards then; pity really, as I'll miss it!

isn't that strange why they didn't include this in this high spec model; do you know what year they introduced it as i'm sure one of my other Honda's had it, and that was getting on?
