I'm getting a quite audible rattle only when I startup the car, for about 2 seconds. Then it's gone. This only happens if the engine is cold. If I start the car while it's still hot, there is no noise. Could it be the alternator/alternator clutch?

Crazy or not, a few months back I've washed the polen filter gently and left it to dry. Checked it recently and all is fine. I won't risk doing the same to the air filter. Anyway, aftermarket versions of these items wouldn't bother me.
