I wouldn't bother too much about it. I measured every litre I put in the engine the last time I changed the oil and I can tell you it was more than 6 litres. As long as it keeps it inside and it's on the right level on the dipstick in cold, don't worry.

Same here. Probably nothing to worry about, but once the plug is there, can't do any harm.

Both codes seem to be ECU related (ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) INTERNAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION). Maybe someone can confirm this. Probably a voltage surge or something caused by your first try at starting it. Let's hope so. ;)

Just had the same situation a few days ago. I removed the excess oil with a gardening tube that fitted the dipstick orifice and attached a trigger spray head and started squeezing. Good luck.

Indeed Dan, it's a great relief.

It's all so smooth and quiet. Just got it back from the dealer. Got the injectors replaced too and had the 120k km service done. I'm happy!

The way I see it, in the cases where warranty does not apply, Honda should replace the injectors for free, when damaged. Being a design flaw or a injector part problem, that should be the right thing to do. It's basically a part that gets damaged when servicing another. Sorry Honda.

Try silicone lube. Maybe it helps.
