It's probably not the disk that's the problem. The laser lens in the DVD gets dirty and it's a common problem. The DVD can be removed, taken apart and the lens cleaned which will keep it going for a while...

If it's starting to break up inside then won't do any good.

You probably know this already Honda P0420 Causes Faulty oxygen sensor Worn and internally failing catalytic converter Leak in exhaust system If you've changed the O2 sensors and there's no leak then unfortunately it could be the centre one where the cat has worn and degraded.

Tried alsorts. Two that blew over the weekend were OSRAM night breakers. Just put two standard ones in for now.

I know Mk7's have a tendency for blowing headlight bulbs and mine has been through plenty in the last few years but this weekend took the biscuit !! Set off for Scotland on Friday night when noticed the lights were a bit dim and so stopped to check and yes NS bulb gone. Thought would change it...

If you have the power socket and the hook then there's a screw at the back of one of them. Can't remember which.

The top display problem is well known and is to do with the solder joints on the power connector drying up and cracking. Never heard this causing a synch issues and with the hundreds of other people reporting clock problems then I would suggest the GPS changed are the current issue.

Clock is not 24hr so just disconnect and re-connect the battery at 1pm

I replaced a similar hose on my 2004 2.2 icdti and it cost me £35 from eBay and about an hour to fit if that helps
