Haven't heard of that particular one and sounds potentially dangerous too, but you can check with Honda to see if they were already done.

Big difference in economy with different fuel

    Oh, and it's a 2.0l petrol also.

Big difference in economy with different fuel

Yes, it does make a huge difference, but my take on it is, that when you mix fuels (i.e. petrols from different companies), you get better results. I've switched a few times and each time after switching the fuel economy increased, but after then using the fuel a while, the economy tapered off...

    Recalls

Passenger airbag is the only recall for the 8th gen, the rest are extended warranty items which can also include the egr pipe on diseasels. Software updates are usually FOC too.

Honda Accord Starting Issue after Oil Topped Up

Was the car on level ground when you checked the level? also it just could be the dreaded ignition switch failure and it's just bad coincidence that it happened when you're trying to sell it.

Why you should change your pollen filter

Unless you live in an excessively dusty area, I'd change it every 2 years, that the recommended interval iirc. but you will notice your windscreen defogging a little quicker I bet!

    Chain Gambles

The only one I find difficult to believe is the discs. Honda-haven is a private forum so I can't provide the link but last time I read about vtecaccords' Accord, it was over 200,000 miles, but now that I think of it, he did say the chain was rattling for a while. I haven't seen an update since.

    Chain Gambles

If driven right and serviced correctly then yes, I believe there are plenty of 2.2's that are still on original clutch and chain. Talk to Vtecaccord on the Irish forum Honda-haven.com. I believe his is still going strong. And we only switched over to kilometers in 2005, so it's possible the 04...

    Cl7 fuel filter change video

It's not a as vital as the diesel fuel filter, but no harm to change it once in a blue moon, I bought one last year but have yet to change, and my thinking was that it was accessed from under the rear seat bench. Everyday's a school day, whoadathunkit??

    Newbie worries

As a far as I was aware with the facelift, the Type S was the only model that doesn't have VSA? Certainly my 2.0 Type S doesn't. You can put your chassis number into the Lings Honda website and that should pull up your specs.

    What is this..

Modulo is Japan Honda' accessory dept. A-Spec is USA, now called HPD I think. Honda Access is Honda Europe' accessory dept. they called it a sport pack when first launched. https://www.flickr.com/photos/63416089@N06/sets/72157631862729869/

    What is this..

That lip kit is different than the Type S kit, but yes, it's the oem accessory kit, the car is an Ex with lip kit as it has full leather and sunroof. Type S doesn't get sunroof.

Ok so what's the difference between an accelerator position sensor and throttle position sensor?
  20. Mr Honda

CL7 2.0 sport. throttle position sensor

According to the image above the TPS sensor cannot be bought separately from Honda. Tegiwa sells a version for £60, but I don't know if the quality is good.
