I would go for it Accord petrol engine is reliable and never goes wrong the Automatic gearbox is very reliable. I own myself can't even feel the gear changes. Diesel does not make sense if you are not doing many miles but if you do go for a diesel look out for timing chain rattle, cracked...

Only ever use Genuine Honda parts the ICTDI engine does not like aftermarket filters and throws up warning lights etc. Genuine Honda part number for Fuel filter is 16901RJLE01 Hope this helps.

The engine doesn't have to be removed to do the job. I would stick with the original dual mass flywheel as the solid mass flywheel can cause extra vibration in the cabin sometimes. Make sure you go for the revised Honda clutch part number 22105PGE325.

Hi, I have a friend who has a Accord Type S he wants to upgrade the stereo. Anyone know which lead is needed to fit a single din stereo such as alpine or pioneer? and where it can be bought from? Also seen a thread somewhere on here a while back with someone talking about the dash screen...

Could be that some of the hid kits are poorly made as a couple of friends had the same issue? Oils/grease from your fingers can cause hot spots on the glass and cause them to go bad, same with halogens. So make sure you don't touch the glass part of the bulb.

Are they aftermarket HIDs? If so check the bulb or ballast. My bulb went recently replacement found on eBay under £10.
