Quick question. Did you actually ring the dealer who claim to have serviced the car?

    Should i buy a 150k+ 8 Gen Diesel

That accord is expensive. I wouldn't pay more than 2k for it considering its age. High miles is always a risk but with hondas you reduce the risk but that doesn't eliminate the risk. Expect to change things like clutches and discs.

    Oil level rising?

This is most likely due to thermal expansion. My diesel does the same and has done so for 8 years. I always fill 3/4 and this rises to just under full. Check it when it's stone cold and it will be lower

    Getting itchy feet

Just go for it, the a4 is not as bad as you think. Its essentially a VW Passat with a new shell so parts will be the same. I had a passat tdi sport and was an ok ish car. By far though the most unreliable car I have had. That said not sure if i'd get another. For me if your going german look...

Yes the honda hds does all that and whole lot more. You can get one off eBay which is a Chinese copy but at your own risk really. Genuine is not available to public and is very expensive

Problem with car not boosting post fuel filter change

meaning you have air in the system. You said prior to fitting the filter all was fine and as soon as it was fitted then you are having issues. My advice would be to have this car put on some honda diagnostic software to check the tolerances. Visually checking parts is not going to tell you...

Car alarm going off when it's been snowing or very cold

Disagree with you there as a fully charged and healthy battery does make the whole experience different. Also it can cause all sorts of weird issues with hondas. 6 years is a long time and worth changing.

Can the 7th gen diesel be reliable?

Had my 05 diesel for 8.5 years now and only needed a clutch but that was due to me mapping it. So for me a very reliable car
