    Puncture Repair Kit

Yes it's normal, you'd still need to be able to take the wheel off for tyre replacement as the fluid I think has a recommended 50mph and 50 mile limit. However I've found it quite nice to have four full size spare wheels, but only one in the car at a time.

DIY - Brake discs and pads change 03+ (updated)

Rather than an impact driver, a chisel and hammer is one straightforward option. Make dent at outer edge of screw for traction, hold chisel at 45o and hammer a few times to loosen it before using a screwdriver. Best description I found; How To Remove The Rotor Screws From Your Honda/Acura’s...

    Gunson Eezibleed

Yes, I now remember that the modded original press fit cap popped off due to the air pressure (though wonder if it could be tied down similarly to the adaptors). Anyway, needing wanting to remove and repaint my rusty calipers so will be using a relatives garage which should have helper...

    Gunson Eezibleed

What adapter for the Gunson Eezibleed do we need for the non-screw press fit caps on our brake fluid reservoirs? The options are; 77042 | Multi-Purpose Cap For Eezibleed G4058 | Eezibleed Multipurpose Cap This came up on THAOC before it died and I can't remember which one someone found the...

REVIEW: EXOL 0w/30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil

I've been swayed to only using fully synthetic ester based oils. Any indication of what percentage the synthetic ester is in their Exol Optima 0W30? I.e. Motul's 100% or Magnatec's 0.01%?

    The Ultimate Tourer Bootliner

Very nice. Do you remove it to use the cargo hooks with bungee cords to secure luggage (with clean dog or otherwise)? Was thinking of just a floor liner with some DIY'd bumper bib for protection against MTB damage. Either a rubber trim to fit mat or a plastic tailored liner with lip to catch...

Full size spare wheel for tourer

A full size 16" does fit in a tourer without having to remove the locking mechanism. It does push the locking cover (or flap thingy) up slightly so to release you do need to push down on edges to release latches. This means no need to use, or find if you're lucky, a spare wheel securing cone and...

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

Plus, you really need to boot it occasionally to clear the soot out! 42 MPG on average for me but I usually commute by train so this comes from a third city, a third motorway and a third having fun on country roads.

    Welcome to TypeAccord

Very glad to have a modern forum back especially with what looks like many of the DIY walkthroughs recovered. Was depending on those for future maintenance - the experience, hints and pictures are just not in the service manual CD. Cheers.
