We bought pulley ourself can't remember how much. But just check all uk parts for this. they had genuine parts and we had good price. Replaced it ourself using pulley removing tool bought from eBay. and using car jack stands to get leverage pivot. there are lots of videos on you tube. I am sure...

I have a funny feeling its the crank pulley. Very similar noise to on of my friends 05 diesel. He had to change it and noise was gone. get second opinion from Honda £80 for diagnostic will save you uncertain expenses.

On the back of this, also does the high mileage engines need thinner or thicker oil. Myth is that as engines wear they need thicker oil for keeping the pistons tight. Any fact behind that?

I do get occasionally blueish white smoke when I start the engine and then it disappears. Mpg is 58 with 70:30 motorway to city drive. I think car picks up well also. No rise in oil level. Can injector issue be diagnosed via diagonostics to eliminate it?

Fahd its the noise, when i remove my foot from the gas. You can hear it for only a second. Its like a gravel in pot. I hope you understand what i mean, in my head it is making sense.

Noise just after Rev is finished. Sound like as if pebbles rolling in shell or tin. Any idea what is it? I don't think this is chain. It is something else from the right side of engine.

I Agree with Sal, after a wash use the vet surface as lubricant for clay. If you are using carpro iron then you still don't need to dry the car perfect. Have you thought of using PTFE Zonyl protective sealant before waxing...
