    Heaters stopped working

Drain the coolant and see what is in the bottom of the bucket after an hour or so. Syphon off the clear stuff and pour back in, topup with good stuff and repeat every day or so.

HELP! Detective work ahead, almost everything is reversed! Diesel Tourer

Allegedly a European model, 37820-RBD-E33 A UK one 37820-RBD-E94 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/386722112639 or 37825-RBD-E91 though there are many others out there. Where are these mounted in the car ?

HELP! Detective work ahead, almost everything is reversed! Diesel Tourer

It might be easier to provide the part number off the side of the ECU, if somebody can tell me where in the Tourer it is I'll do same.

HELP! Detective work ahead, almost everything is reversed! Diesel Tourer

OK, looks normal for Europe. I would suggest the main ECU (next to the ABS brake box) might be sourced from a RHD vehicle (UK/Japan/SA), the original may have failed sometime over the car's lifetime.

HELP! Detective work ahead, almost everything is reversed! Diesel Tourer

It may be worthwhile paying for an HPI check unless you have the full history / receipts from the previous owner. Does Finland have a way of checking previous MOTs ? Can you take a picture or two of the bulkhead under the bonnet ?

    Heavy black smoke - overfueling?

How low is the fuel tank ? Just thinking you may have been running the dregs through pipes and the important parts near the engine. Why not fill up with some premium diesel ?

Manual vs Automatic - Transmission lifespan / reliability?

My manual clutch is on its last legs (180k) But today the Yaris auto (close to 100k) would not run until I warmed up the interior and played about with the gear selector twice. I drained/replaced the gearbox oil around six months back. I would put it down to the negative celsius temperatures...

Saloon boot button doesn't open the boot

As it is a saloon it is best to get it sorted since once the getaround fails there is no way in apart from jimmying the boot. Same with my drivers door mechanical lock (wrecked by a local toerag), I carry a spare keyfob battery everywhere, just in case. You might get away with drilling a hole...

Scrapping my gen 7 accord tourer

Good thing I am outside the Khan enclave, locals might start prospecting. (but then there woulld be an evironmental crisis from those that pay £12.50 tax to drop similar on the roads paved with gold).
