I think the 3 beeps means there`s a fault. The simplest thing to try first is to disconnect the battery. This seems to reset something and has worked for me twice now. The only you have to do then is to re-tune your radio.

It does on mine, I`ve just been out to try it. If I knock it back one click the screen dims with the lights on, turn it up full and the screen goes bright. It even beeps to let me know and there`s a sliding scale in the display under the speedo.

Thats right. You pull a lever on the top of the seat back near the headrest and the seat bottom is supposed to lift up against the front seats and the back folds down, all automatic. Except that mine doesn`t quite do that I have to give the seat bottom a helping hand and lift it as i pull the lever.

CJ, I`ve no doubt they are expensive but don`t worry I`m not throwing them out. I`ll be putting them back in if and when I sell the car. As for the slam panel, I`ll keep an eye out for one but I in the mean time I might just look out for a bit of black carpet and stick it down somehow
