    Is my engine an H23?

No, the D16 DOHC was in production during the 90's actually, finally ending production in 1994. Very sought after engine as it's rare, but very strong so great for turbocharging.

    Is my engine an H23?

    Wrong. DOHC D-series were non-VTEC. :)

    Pre facelift and facelift wing

    Yes they are the same.

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

But how will that make it faster Jon... ;)

    Changing your springs

    As above :).

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

How many times do I have to say this...I'm NOT saying it's impossible, I'm saying that realistically it's too much work for most people especially when you could just have the easier and cheaper option of having a H22. :) As for not doing anything with my life...Well it's pretty ironic...

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

H22 is the best option really. Cheap, powerful and drops straight in. Would you consider just buying a Type-R though? Can be picked up for peanuts nowadays!

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

They did make a 4x4 Accord actually, JDM only :). That "silver thing" is not a rotrex supercharger actually, it's just a standard intake manifold for the F22/3 found in the 5th gen Accord, as that one above is actually a 5th gen not a 6th. Lastly, no rotrex supercharger for the Accord has...

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

And I was talking about K20 because YOU mentioned it. Of course anything is possible, but a K20 will need custom mounts, management, shafts etc etc. LOTS of work that no one will want to do when a H22 drops straight in. And yes, a K20 WILL require the bulkhead to be cut as the exhaust is at the...

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

Hahahaha, that Accord isn't even supercharged! Like I said, stupid! And I still don't have a clue why you are bringing Civics and Preludes into this when we are talking about Accords. Like I said, Andy at VTEC Direct (look him up, he knows EVERYTHING about our Accords) is the one who announced...

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

Are you stupid? Superchargers and Turbos are totally different. Turbos go on the exhaust side and yes, there is room for that, but you were talking about supercharging the Accord, which goes on the intake side WHERE THERE IS NO ROOM UNLESS YOU CUT THE BULKHEAD. As for precludes, who gives a...

    Changing your springs

Keep in mind, shorter springs will wear out your OEM shocks. I wouldn't recommend fitting lowering springs if your car is high mileage or has tired shocks.

    Fitting a turbocharger, possible?

You can, but everything will have to be custom made and then you would need independent management. I spoke to VTEC direct a few years ago about turboing my F20B6 to around 230-250hp with the hope for more. The final cost would of been around £5500-6000 with all the supporting mods. In the end...

    Engine conversion to a 2.2

K20 won't fit unless you are prepared to cut up your bulkhead, find one-off shafts, mounts etc. Andy at VTEC direct looked into it a while back for his ATR race car and said that a K20 swap is pretty much impossible...If Andy says that, I would agree. Same goes for supercharging a H22...

    weight reduction.

Well with an F18/F20, it definetely is slow :L. If you got the 1400kg figure from the internet, it's wrong. Type-R's are 1150-180kg, with non-ATR's ranging from 1210-1320kg depending on spec, equipment etc. My H22 CH7 weighs 1220kg with fluids and no driver, and I've done nothing to reduce...

    weight reduction.

Not really, they are only 135-150hp machines so you will never really win any drag races. Just accept it for the slow but refined machine that it is, and buy a Type-R if you want speed.

replacing Lambda Sensor? Hard work/ DIY ?

Not sure I like the sound of this...Can you please find out the exact code? I only ask because I'm not sure a lambda sensor is the issue here.

Changing ATF - is there a filter ?

Meant to say that last night . It is indeed a box out job, and would require a full strip down as its the first thing you put into the case before ***embling the valve bodies and clutch hubs on top of that.

Changing ATF - is there a filter ?

Just curious, why are you changing the fluid? When draining the oil, you will only be able to drain around 1/4-1/3 of the total oil capacity as a majority is held within the converter and valve body. The only way you can do a complete oil change is to drain the oil and refill then drive the...
