    Bulkhead/wheel arch leak

Water runs behind the strut tops after it rains and gathers up in between the struts and firewall, which eats through the metal as time goes on. Shockingly bad design!

    F18 vs F20

Have you considered buying a Accord Type R donor car? You can pick up a good condition one for around 2k, and at least you also get the ATR suspension, interior etc etc. Thats the route took anyway, and at least you'll have everything needed to do the swap.

    question about these tail lights

This pic is a few years old, but you get the idea.... www.thumbsnap.com/sc/xTsUUr0K.jpg Those are standard Type-R rear lights from the saloon that bolt directly into my hatchback. I've since added a 15% tint to the whole light to darken the red slightly. I'll take newer pics when I next use...

    can u add a 6 speed gearbox to a F18

Haha, I take it you saw my reply? :D I will remain very very skeptical until I see pictures. For the money it would of cost to fit an S2000 head (and make it spin the other way!) and fit Spoon internals, he could of had a H22 in there with fully forged internals, mahoosive turbo and generally...

    F18 vs F20

No you misunderstood me. I know it was an Auto only, but you can swap in a manual gearbox from an Acura TL/CL-S but this can only be bought from the USA. I actually used to own a V6 coupe with a manual swap. You can find more info on it here. It was a great car and I really miss it, but...

    F18 vs F20

180hp out of an F18 would only be possible with a turbo, and even then it would be a tall order and risky on standard internals. A V6 would be a good albeit trickier swap, but you will have to source an Acura gearbox and other parts from the USA if you wanted to keep it as a manual. Tbh, I...

    can u add a 6 speed gearbox to a F18

No, S2000 is RWD and has completely different internal setup etc. Basically mate, it is impossible unless you are prepared to spend thousands upon thousands.

    Bulkhead/wheel arch leak

Did you see his pictures? lol In all seriousness, I would do some more digging and check the rest of the car for rust. Also, check how far that rust goes up the seam towards the windscreen area, as that area will be very tricky to repair. If you do decide to repair it, make sure to get a...

    question about these tail lights

Hi Chris. I looked at all the lights available and as I said, they are lights for the US market saloon and will not fit our 6G's. If you find some that you think fit, by all means pass over the link. Oh, and our 6G saloon lights do fit our hatchbacks. I have smoked Type-R rear lights on my...

    F18 vs F20

Anything is possible, but you need to realise that SOHC VTECs are primarily a economy engine and are not made for performance. The best thing to do with the 6G is to fit a H22. For around £800, you could have an instant 215hp and an engibe that responds very well to mods. For all the money it...

    question about these tail lights

Those lights are for the American Accord. No chance will they fit our 6G's.

    can u add a 6 speed gearbox to a F18

If you could find a 6speed Honda gearbox with an input shaft that fits, then yes. However, I can bet my life that you would need a custom bellhousing, linkages, mounts, possibly flywheel, slave/master cylinder setup, shafts and much much more...In other words, anything is possible including...

    Tyre Pressure & MPG

Phil is spot on. The harder the tyre, the less rolling resistance there is which means less fuel consumption. However, you will compromise road noise and grip (especially in the wet) more and more as the pressures rise, so I personally wouldn't go above 35psi.

    Fuel Consumption

1.8's are pretty much identical and the 2.3's are about 1-2mpg worse in all areas so its negligable. Believe it or not, the most efficient engine is the H22A7 found in the Type-R. I average 35-38mpg and can get 42.1mpg on a run according to my phonr app.

    Bulkhead/wheel arch leak

Here was mine. There was a little more after that once it was cut out, but it was solid overall and never creeped up the seam like yours.

    Bulkhead/wheel arch leak

Holy hell....Until I saw yours, mine was the worst I seen, but yours is seriously bad. Is it a coastal car? Not to sound rude bud but I would definetely say thats more hassle than its worth. :(

Unplug the battery and simply disconnect the airbag, simple! ;)

    Bulkhead/wheel arch leak

Saw your PM earlier but was busy. Do you have any pictures of the rust? It depends on how bad the rust is, but the worst I've ever had to do was remove the dash/loom/pedal box. Send some pictures over dude and I can tell you what needs removing. At the very least though, it will be a...

    Engine check light

Clicking noise could be anything suspension/steering related so it's hard to diagnose it over the internet, like most things I guess! If it's definetely external and not just lose trim near the steering wheel or something, I would just get someone to keep turning the wheel to recreate the noise...
