    Strut Brace Compatibility

Not sure on 5th gens fitting 6th gens to be honest bud....Not to sound like a **** but would there be a need? 6th gens already have strut braces attached to the firewall which are more than good enough at providing rigidity. If it's anything like the EK's and MB6's that run a similiar setup, you...

    Type V sat nav system

To be honest it is a lot of work, and it's a rather outdated system. Your best bet would be to buy the nav, and use the screen as an output source for a DVD player. If you are desperate for a nav, I would pick up a secondhand Garmin or other...They can be had cheap enough nowadays!

    Non starting 6th Gen

Fit a new battery then check the alternator, but the car will show up a light if the alternator is fecked. Yes it's normal for everything to die when the battery is low. I remember thinking my clocks had died when moving the car after taking the alternator off!

    Locking wheel nuts

I'm gonna go against the grain and say ditch the locking nuts. Wheels are rarely stolen nowadays unless they are worth a decent ammount of money. I ditched my nuts (hehe) years ago and it's great! No more fiddling with the key etc, and no one has ever bothered trying to steal my wheels.

    timing belt replacement question

I disagree. You should change the waterpump and tensioner, as the tensioner can wear over time....Frankly, it would be silly to not change them while everything else is off.

    Rear Bumper

It'll fit yes, but as yours is a facelift, it will look quite silly having a pre-facelift bumper on a facelift car.

    Accord F18 modifying

I may seem rude, but I'm gonna get straight tuo the point to save me listing all the reasons your idea is not worth the expense. The F18 block is by no means a power house with just 136hp, and is made purely for economy. They don't even respond well to tuning, being a SOHC and having a ECU that...

    Oil Capacity on 2 litre

Good choice, correct grade too. You will get people suggesting 10w/30 fully synthetic for the F20B6, but it's way too thin. :)

    Help please....

Thanks mate. Will give him a call. I already have one at the moment which I made from a gearbox oil cooler from a Lexus IS. It performs well, but looks a bit tatty even after having a lick of paint.

    Help please....

Haha. I'm just messing mate. I always enjoy people talking about there cars, and it's nice to hear about Type'Rs :). P.S, do you have a link to the oil cooler you bought from VTEC Direct? I can't seem to find it on there site, and could do with a replacement for my home made one! :D

    Help please....

Cool dude! Great to hear. :) The battery must of been really flat to not even offer a single turnover of the engine! Oh and please stop talking about your Accord...It's making me miss mine! :D

    Help please....

Grr...I hate it when they rely on the computer so much! I had the same issue when I replaced my original battery last year. It was way too huge, but I had no choice but to fit it without the plastic surround and then fabricate a new mount for it. At least now I have a HUGE battery that has shed...

    Interior related Questions

Hello! Right then...Where to start. The wood trims. I'm afraid to say that while these are not terribly hard to remove, they do no simply pop out...If only eh! To remove the passenger piece above the glove box, you will have to remove the entire glove box ***embly including the actualy storage...

    Help please....

Can't you get a buddy to run you into Halfords/Motorfactor and just pick up the correct battery yourself? At least that way you can (providing it Izs the battery!) get her started and go do some vtec'ing. :D

    Help please....

Or he could quickly swap over a battery from another car there to atleast start it...I would jump it personally. :)

    Help please....

Hmm. Possible starter motor? Try giving the starter a good few whacks with something blunt and heavy. Failing that, jump the car in 2nd gear to see if it will atleast run. Edit: Just re-read your post. If there is a lack of power from the battery, you can also get this symptom but USUALLY you...

    Driving with a P1259 Error

You're welcome. Make sure to get the old caliper off them and ask them to tell you specifically what the problem is with the caliper. 6th Gens are known for giving rear caliper trouble, with mine alone first having a seized handbrake mechanism (It's a geared spindle which pushes the inner rear...

    Driving with a P1259 Error

I'm confused....They say that it is destroyed, yet have not offered you a thorough description of the issue. Yes, it is possible that heat could of caused the seals to fail, but this would be more likely to cause complete or partial brake failure as fluid would then escape past the seals and air...
