I got my DPF purged at Holdcroft on Monday 29th. It came on again last night.
My driving schedule has been
Monday 90 miles from Stoke @ 60 - 65
Tuesday 20 miles @ 30 - 60
Wednesday 30 miles @ 30 - 40
Friday 10 miles @ 30 - 40 then DPF came on.
The DPF light came on...
They mentioned that it needed an update for the DPF but I don't think they have touched the remap part of the software as it feels the same as before the light came on.
My car is now sorted. It took Holdcroft just under three hours to do a 37500 mile service, regen the DPF, regas the air conditioning and replace two rear speakers.
Not bad when s****estone wanted the car all day to do just the DPF????
The guy didn't mention a DPF delete so I ***ume he didn't do it. I'm not sure if I want it removing, won't the DPF get clogged up without you getting a warning when it is deleted?
I do a couple of ten mile journeys daily (school run), but the wife took the car to meadowhall on Monday so that was 40 miles each way. I also do a few 100 mile each way journeys for work during the week, but I keep it to about 60 on the motorway.
