ABS and VSA lights still on after replacing ABS Sensor

This sounds like the ABS pump/modulator is developing sticky valves perhaps. Braking hard activated the modulation circuits and cleared (for now) what was playing up. OK, this is inductive speculation, based on this question I posted in this forum. However If you do not know the age and...

    Rear wheel bearings

Has anyone here used a press to change the bearing in the rear Tourer bearing ***embly? If so, how did you remove the old bearing?

I can't located it on the (first) photo but is there a visible crack in the paint?

Using a Blue Print ADH22255 Air Filter on ICDTI Accords

This is new to me as well. The only oiled filters (apart from the stock VW oil bath) I have used were sticky oil impregnated foam that clogged up the moment you hit a dirt road. So what are these original Honda filters?

    Fault code b2631 Honda Accord

I think you need to clear it manually.

    Fault code b2631 Honda Accord

Yes, I think so. Does the fault reappear when you clear it? If the sensors are all working the main suspects are connectors possibly being moisture affected. A tonne of low voltage electrical problems are solved by simply removing, cleaning and re-plugging, contacts and earths..

    Boost actuator fault

The actuator pulls the vanes into position and is an external vacuum operated part. You do not need to pull the turbo to change it but it might be a touch finicky at the turbo end of the shaft. First inspect the vacuum line connected to it. If there is a leak the actuator won't work...

    Fault code b2631 Honda Accord

Mildly confused. You said they are working, did not want to replug or swap them over, but you will fit new ones? It could just be a bit of corrosion on a contact patch. How did you test it was working despite it being reported as faulty?

    Fault code b2631 Honda Accord

It's a parking sensor failure? Not hard to replace. You can probably find a very cheap replacement on Aliexpress, or get the same item packaged by Honda for 30 times more.. Maybe first unplug / clean / re-plug the one that is there.

    Space saver

It is inadvisable to run tyres of different circumferences on the front as it forces the differential to shift the drive to the larger wheel instead of more or less dividing it between both wheels. But on the rear the car might fractionally lean - if at all; the tyre profile on a space saver...

    Headlight Bulbs

I can't find outer lenses for the non-US Mk7 at all. Not even when I look for Acura TSX. Every other generation and type is catered for but for some reason only the US Mk7 Accord with the triangular headlights are covered by aftermarket manufacturers. Seems odd, given the popularity of the...

    Headlight Bulbs

The problem with that is that you aren't able to flash the high beam, which is a legal requirement in most countries. BTW brake fluid is meant to cut through UV faded plastic. I haven't tried this because I recently polished my lights. Speaking of polished lights, while my lights look nice and...

Dreaded ABS, VSA, TSA dashboard lights

You can still find some non-straw coloured DOT4 fluid here, if you search for it. It won't be any of the big brands though. Brightly coloured brake fluids are popular in Asian markets, for use in customised mopeds and motorbikes. These are still sold under DOT numbers. Mixing a little bit of...

    Rear Brake Piston

I didn't know red rubber grease came in blue  However I do use this stuff. This is blue for branding purposes though. It has nothing to do with functionality. Red Rubber grease is red so it doesn't get confused with other types of grease. After reading up on it I think I will start...

Dreaded ABS, VSA, TSA dashboard lights

I was going to construct a pressure bleeder, but ended up just pedal pumping it. The new fluid was a different colour from what was in the car, so it was relatively easy to see when each line was refreshed. In fact I would have had no idea how much to pump through if it had been the same colour.

    Rear Brake Piston

So the binding brake faerie caught up with my car. I Installed new rear discs, new pads, pushed the pistons back in etc, but when I went for a drive I found that the right side rear wheel was about a million degrees and gave off that commuter-train-pulling-in-at-the-station smell. Pulled it...

    Intermediate functionality of heated seats

I can't find it now (sorry) by I have seen a complete guide showing how to strip the seats to inspect the heating wires. I can't remember which website it was on but I am pretty sure it was one of the Honda forums, perhaps one of the US ones. What I do remember is that the leather on the...
