There two strips sticking out on either side of the front bumper on the 7 gen started flaking badly and made the front end look awful. I bought the tool below and started removing the paint, the strips are actually made from a hard rubber compound and not plastic and the paint peels away nicely...

On Groupon there is another local aircon refill deal for £19 but with 15% off using code new15 works out at 16.45. No antibacterial but nearly half price if ATS. Only useful if you live close to Oldham really. I have just purchased.

Used ATS last year was good. They didn't find any leaks, But now this year it's not ice cold anymore. Nearly 4 yrs ago when I bought the car, I had to turn the aircon off because it got soo cold in the car, but now it's never like that again. Something somewhere not right.

I installed xcarlink, but I just drilled a little hole at the back of the lower compartment from which I feed the wire and the xcarlink sits in it. I now find the xcarlink link gets in the way of things I put in there like my phone. My plan though is to take it apart again and keep the xcarlink...

Thanks Jon, completed 400 mile trip today and luckily no issues, no burning smells. But I'll keep an eye for pad wear or burn smell. Also noticed brakes were working more efficiently now, since one isn't pinned to the disc any longer.

Garage has cleaned and freed it up today, see how long it lasts.

Now I remember when they put the discs in the said one caliper was v hard to push back.

Car parked at airport for 2 weeks, drove home last night and burning smell from rear tyre, checked this morning, scrapes on rear disc, I suspect it's a sticky caliper, is there anyone in northwest can repair this with a kit?? Or do I need to replace with new?

And here's me making a fuss about a couple of scratches, it shows no matter how bad your problems are, there's someone out there whose much worse off. A moment to reflect and be grateful.
