Something as simple changing the bushings can improve the ride, but when did it get so bad?? Have you fitted lower profile tyres recently or anything??

Mines been creaking for years, it probably will affect the seal eventually, but so far so good. I will grease it up soon, though I must do a fluid flush on it first.

No issues in general with the petrols, maybe worth replacing the gearbox fluid if it hasn't been done. for your commute, stick with the petrol, what you may lose in mpg you will gain in reliability, diesels are too complex/finicky (****etech).

Just to add, the camera on the Garmin unit does not pick up sound, but the onscreen footage shows speed, coordinates etc.. and can take snap shot images if needed.

There's a primary and secondary so two effectively, would be unusual for both to be gone though. Normally it's the front/primary one.

Front, rear, most bodyshops can work with what's there and just repair unless it's completely rotten
