Si, the ictdi is REALLY fussy about fuel filters.Aftermarket ones just seem to cause trouble with hesitating, cutting out etc. Most on here only use genuine Honda fuel filters. V, if your warranty is due to expire, get it to Honda asap. It might be that contact spray will fix it but don't wait for the warranty to.run out to find its something more costly. In any case, be sure to report back!

£100? Yeah I remember those days. On the Accord, the clutch is an all-day job with the subframe having to be removed. This obviously ramps up the price, especially at a dealership.

Just get a new battery. It will have plenty of power in it to start the car after your holidays and you won't be faffing about in a cold car park trying to jump start your car. It'll also prevent you having the same trouble all winter.

That's for an automatic gearbox fella. MTF = manual transmission fluid, ATF = automatic transmission fluid. Some manuals do take ATF but pretty sure the iCDTI takes MTF.

At 41k, I'd definitely change it. Better to do a little preventative maintenance now than suffer a problem later on.
