Willing to be corrected on this, but the Diesel AC is different from petrol. Unless the part numbers are the same I wouldn't risk it.

Sorry to hear the troubles mate. Glad you're OK!!!!

I think the AC stuff is different on the diesel. We had troubles with an aftermarket head unit that was fine in one, but not the other - the AC was the cause.
