A slightly strange one. Two days ago, the heater control (the knob that goes from 1 - 4) started to only work on settings 3 & 4. It does not work at all on 1 & 2. Any suggestions or should I just dive in and get behind the controls?

I know, I'm looking around the net on how to fix this or buy a new backing plate but I can't seem to find just the plate. I may have to buy the whole unit

Whoever it was didn't leave details and the plate on the back of the glass has snapped meaning it won't just press back in.

I'd get the door card off and see if something has come off the handle from the inside. I've not had the problem myself so couldn't say for certain what it is but get your arm up there and have a feel around for something loose I guess.

I did respray them a couple of years ago but they're too dark. I guess it'll just be trial and error. Still, I get to spray loads of stuff!

Hi, I replaced mine last year but can't remember the size. I know I had to make an mdf ring as the new speakers were slightly larger than the originals. You'll need to take off the whole door card to access the speakers. it's fairly straight forward to do, I'm sure there's a guide on how to do...

Get the timing belt done as soon as possible. Don't risk it. With the centre caps, could you refurb them yourself? Give them a sanding and some primer and get the right colour silver (if anyone knows what shade of silver it is let me know) then lacquer it. Shouldn't take too long. I've changed...
