Wow! I miss this thread! I had EGR VALVE change nearly two years ago, car is now still running like a train...anyway, I'm keep using diesel treatment very time I fuel the car, my car had nothing on the back but power when I put my foot down! anyway, enjoy the car.

Hi guys, I'm sure it will work in petrol accord, but as my experience, it wasn't work properly in my accord diesel, unless the device has revised to work with diesel, or it has difference manufacture. But anyway, I don't like the stereo unit to be changed to aftermarket unless its in very good...

Hi iron man, thanks for for replying, the one is replacing the original stereo unit which I had try before in my diesel tourer, but it won't work with the duel climate control,A/C system won't work too! so I will only try something like this, and which doesn't affected the original parts Ray

Same as faddy, sorry to hear that the egr valve won't work with the problem, you have to have it diagnosed professionally, making sure the where is the problem, save you time and hassle, hope to see your update with the problem being sorted..good luck

You properly right faddy, as the faulty can't be guessing and should be diagnosed, :-) a faulty EGR vavle isn't cheap, so, hope it doesn't has to be replaced. good luck.

Replace the EGR VALVE, I had the same problem like yours! Nearly had I accident when I in the roundabout because of the lack of power, if you done EGR off remap, I don't know about that as my car is srardard now.I suggest you let Honda deal diagnose the problem , don't waste money and time test...

I had one on my tourer, is done 10k, not sure if remap have been cleared as car had been through Honda dealer for diagnose the EGR problems...since that diagnose, every 3rd gear had been not pushing my car, all smoothed dont know why, may be my driving style is not pushing foot too hard enough...

How is the noice when engine rattle... timing chain is a issue for the old accord diesel especially 05 one, that is what I worry in the future my one at present 88k on the clock, but change oil every 5000 miles...

hi all, here is the bodykit being bond to the OEM rear bumper lastnight, by using all sort of clamps to hold them in place so they looks good.. then this morning, when the weather is still frezzing cold, i just put everything back to the car, now my car has new look to the back now :blush...
