Finally some decent pics of my EL wire mod

The pre-facelift has dark orange interior night lights. My scangauge is set to dark red, which goes with some reds in the dials, and the red EL wire can be also a nice touch. Got me thinking.

Finally some decent pics of my EL wire mod

Great job and good result. Curious stuff. A few days back did the same with red EL wire in both the foot wells. A bit disappointed though, as even on the darkest night can barely noticed the light reflecting in my feet or the carpet. Didn't want something too bright (because it's always on) but...

I don't have satnav too, and I think I didn't had to remove the whole unit itself. Did it all from below.

    Cruise Control Clutch Switch Thread

Most certainly nothing to do with cruise control switch. And probably not clutch related too. Start with the simple things, like oil servicing, oil filter, check air filter or even fuel filter. Spark plugs? Maybe injectors? A few tests at Honda dealer could help. Good luck.

    Cruise Control Clutch Switch Thread

Ok, just slide your seat all the way back, rest your head near the clutch pedal, turn you head , and look up to the "arm" of the clutch pedal. Follow it and you will find the switch. Now, I checked my settings not on the switch itself, but in the steel rod that goes in when you press the pedal...

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

I'm a bit confused with the specs. Bought a liter of this, but the specs are confusing me: API TC / JASO FB (semi-synthetic). Can someone tell me if I can use it? Thanks!

For anyone considering a DIY oil service.....

During this afternoon I checked for wood prices and it's not worth it. At least around here. And soon I'll be needing an oil service.

For anyone considering a DIY oil service.....

Either way, I'm going to look around and check for wood prices. I wouldn't need such long ramps anyway. If it pays off, I might do it.

P2004 - IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control problems

Sorry to dig this up again. When coming to work this morning, the P2004 code showed up again. Cleaned it with the Scangauge when I stopped the car. Started it again, revved it a bit, waited and stayed off. Let's see what's next. I'll have to see if the part has a 2 year guarantee, because if it...

For anyone considering a DIY oil service.....

I'm thinking about the size, the handling, the storage, the work and wood price! You can get a pair of metal ramps probably much cheaper! Around here you can get a pair of ramps for about 30/35 pounds.

    Official oil check procedure

lol Check the oil at cold, always in the same place if possible, and always with the car on a level surface.

    Official oil check procedure

At cold, it should be in max level. Because when it's moving/hot, oil actually is filling other cavities on the engine. So, no problem with that.

    CAI

Hydrolock generally does not occur unless the filter is fully submerged in water. "Bypass filters" can be used to prevent water from entering the engine. It serves as a bond between two tubes, inside the engine bay, or between the tube and the intake manifold. Just an example...
