After another drive, nah you're right, top end feels very good. Also today I was in 5th gear doing about 40 or 50, then put my foot down to overtake, thought I was in 4th not 5th, pull is amazing now in the midrange Reflash + CAI = fantastic

Well the stock intake port was right at the front by headlight wasn't it? But yes where it is now I cant imagine any heat getting down there. Have you also noticed it gets slightly quieter in the range between vtec (4600) and redline? Between say 5-6k?

I have the exact same parts as you on my CAI, I was worried about losing some aspect of performance (lower/midrange) in the gain of a little bit of peak power. But after a week or so of driving the best gains seem to be IN the lower/mid, more so mid. I dont think its lost anything on top end...

Thats good to know, because ive had the reflash so recently too im second guessing. But yes I have a long ram (DIY) same sort of thing as steves set up, with the K@N filter in place of the resonator, same as typhoon kit. So it should in theory perform very similar. Cheers

6.3 secs to 62, thats a serious improvment on stock, so to 60 be looking more like 6.1. The header is very effective too isn't it.

It is isn't it! Done mine today, very pleased with it, it is a beastly sound from K24, my son was sat in the back with a big grin on his face. And the best thing about it is under normal driving its no louder than normal.

But I have a horrible feeling the new ones are not gonna slide over the exhaust, I cant see properly but the inlet on new tips look exactly the same size as exhaust inside trim, well il know soon!
