    MPG Trouble

    Has it been regularly serviced?

    Wheel Colour

Not a problem. That was the ***le of the colour when I had them refurbished so hopefully that's close enough.

    Wheel Colour

When I had my wheels refurbished along with the centre caps they were painted with 'Honda Sparkle sliver'. http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/20704-alloy-wheel-refurb/#entry221119

Cheers. It's given the old tank a nice lift!

    Sportex Exhaust Upgrade

It's very quiet inside the car. Only a little burble can be heard. Performance wise, it makes vtec engage smoothly. In fact it makes the whole drive smoother.

    Sportex Exhaust Upgrade

For my Birthday my family all chipped in to get me a Sportex Backbox. I'm very impressed with the build quality, service, delivery and most of all the noise! And check out the video's on my YouTube channel. Follow the link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYdKVypaERk Hope you like...

    Meguiars ultimate compound

No. I didn't clay bar it. My brother in law said I should of done. But I'll most probably do it all again in a few weeks. Clay bar, compound, Polish, wax.

    Meguiars ultimate compound

I tried out some Meguiars ultimate compound on the Accord. I thought it was clean before but I was seriously mistaken! This synthetic compound removed a layer of filth off the car that you could only feel through the cloth during polishing, nothing was actually visible. I done the whole car with...

    Strange wobble...

A14 TYRES AND EXHAUSTS in Bury St Edmunds. I've used them for years. Had numerous tyres for various cars all wing performance powerflow exhausts from them. I was so pleased that I treated the old tank to a set of new high quality ignition leads! Such good service. Your right.

    Strange wobble...

The conclusion to the mystery! I thoroughly checked all the suspension etc etc with no luck sourcing the issue. So today I went to see my local tyre shop for a second opinion. He said that old Honda's are built like brick **** houses and suspension is never normally an issue. He said also they...

    Strange wobble...

I thinks it's pointing to the cheap nasty tyres I put on. Amateur mistake.

    Strange wobble...

Also at speed I get a buffeting noise through the cabin. Tyres?

    Strange wobble...

No there is no bounce at all it returns back to level straight away. So ball joints... or links?

    Strange wobble...

Yea that is what I was starting to think because I've changed the wheels around to different positions around the car to see if the wobble would come from a different location. But it just shows that the wobble still comes from the front somewhere. So I'm thinking shocks maybe? As you say there...

    Strange wobble...

Since I've owned my mk6 I've had a strange wobble through the car. It's very odd because it feels like it comes through the chassis, not like unbalanced wheels. When I had the wheels refurbished they said no buckles were found and I refitted brand new tyres. I've them precision balanced as...

    Alloy Wheel Refurb

Thanks! I was torn between having a refurb and a new set of alloys. I like the OEM sport wheels. I wasn't willing to spend nearly £1100 on some rota grid's with half decent tyres. I couldn't justify that amount of money. Especially if it drove not as nice after.

    Alloy Wheel Refurb

£280 all in. The wheels are ready within 48hrs and the centre caps take up to a week because they clear the prep room and refurbish centre caps in batches.

    Alloy Wheel Refurb

I've had my Sport Alloy wheels and centre caps fully refurbished. I've also bought some new Honda badges for the centre caps and a new set of tyres for the wheels. Really given her a new lease of life! The wheels have been professionally: Shot blasted Chemically washed/dipped Powder primed...

    Sorting the rust!

Haha! I just like it when products do exactly what they state or claim! Yea that sounds like the same place for the rust. Very common. I'd advise getting done before the winter. Take advantage of the last few warm dry days we have!
