    Supercharged CL9?

Im not missing the point at all. Modifying cars is not about money. if it was people wouldn't do it full stop. It is also about individuality. There are loads of M3's about and probably zero supercharged Accords. And a supercharged 2.4 is an absolute weapon, A totally different animal to an M3...

    Supercharged CL9?

I love how some of you lot completely miss the point on modifying cars. Perhaps he doesn't want an M3 or Mazda. Personally i enjoy modifying my car and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing your hard work come together. I transformed this To this Sure it may have been...

    Electric Widow Fault

Try some silicone spray in the runners. This used to happen to mine once every 6 months or so. A quick squirt of silicone spray did the trick. Dont use WD40.

Is the leather real on the SE Exec?

Its a hybrid leather. Leather is shaved so its ultra thin then applied to a canvas type material. Its a cheap type of leather which is then painted rather than dyed. You only really get genuine leather which is dyed on top spec Mercs and Rolls Royce etc. you need to make sure you use a light...

    No driver door detection

There is a micro switch actually on the mech. The bit that actually locks the door (not the handle end) which tells the ecu if the door is open or shut. it will still open and close ok but the car won't know the door even exists. I.e there will be no illumination or the illumination won't dim...

    No driver door detection

These threads should help. The TSX is identical to the Accord in the US so all the threads are relevant. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=tsx+micro+switch&oq=tsx+micro+switch&aqs=chrome..69i57.7939j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=acura%20tsx%20door%20lock%20problem&safe=off

    No driver door detection

Only mentioned micro switch as i had an identical issue on a Vectra i once owned. There is a micro switch in the locking mechanism which lets the ecu know if it is open or closed. My door open symbol was permanently on and the interior lights never came on when the door was opened. Ended up...

    No driver door detection

i suspect its the plastic plunger thing that acts as a switch is stuck. simply free it. If not or if the Accord hasn't got one it could be a micro sensor in the locking mechanism which would mean a trip to the breakers for a new locking mech. I no longer have my accord so cant check which of...

    New front bumper 2004 cdti

Don't get it fibreglass repaired. If its cracked get it plastic welded. Any good bodyshop will do this anyway. The cheapest route will still be a second hand bumper though to be honest.

    New front bumper 2004 cdti

    Vibrations.....

try switching your rear wheels to the front to eliminate wheel buckle, Failing that it could be flywheel related.

Put it in the bin mate. If you force it IT WILL ruin your barrel. I had a nightmare with mine. Read the above post. Seriously its not worth the hassle.

Lads, Please be very cautious getting these cut at Timpsons or anywhere for that matter. Timpsons ended up paying for a new ignition barrel from Honda (£1200) and i had to start my car with a hacksaw blade for 2 weeks while waiting for it to arrive from Japan. They are not easy to cut. Believe...

How do you use TypeAccord & why did you first join?

I joined because when i am looking to buy a new car i like to gather as much information about issues as possible before purchasing it, What keeps me around is a very good DIY section with upgrades and mods clearly listed for each generation. I never buy a car as simply a mode of transport. My...

    Tinting Windows

The metal stuff is top of the range, Good quality normal branded stuff is more than adequate. Also you cant use the metal lined stuff in any windows that have a built in aerial as it kills the signal.

don't use the ebay film because as you have found out it is bollox. You already know suntec is the best on the market so buy it directly from them, Its only about £100 a roll which is more than enough to do the whole of your car and some. Are you using a heat gun.????
