I would say they are referring to a control arm, in which case it would be bushing's or a ball joint thats the issue. Either way it may well be worth just buying new parts rather than changing the offending elements.

its one of those things mate it could go on for ages just with that noise or it could pack up tomorrow. The noise from your description is not normal and If it was my motor I would be worried about the turbo going and bits finding there way into expensive places.

I would first check all the hoses, but if its like a police siren then that sounds like your turbo is knackered. A decent re-conditioner will do a 48hr turn around for about £550ish.

Is it a whine or a definate whistle? Have you checked the hoses for boost leaks?? some leaks only appear when the engine moves and reveals a split hose. Make sure to check the hose's to and from the IC and the IC condition as well.

IIRC the hub bore for the mazda is like 67.1 and Honda is 64.1 or something similar. You can get them on ebay easy enough either plastic or made out of billet.

Your Honda spec wheels are 5x114.3 and the offset is 55mm Those mazda wheels will fit but you will need spiggot rings as the centre bore size is larger than Honda. The mazda wheels IIRC have a 52mm offset so will sit in the arches nicer and not cause any issue like rubbing.
