I don't think Honda have designed the system to work on exhaust fumes :D I don't think my smell is exhaust fumes, I'd describe it more like burning plastic or dust something. You know the smell you get from an electric heater that hasn't been turned on for a year, thats what i'd describe it...

I'm getting the smell as well pretty sure mines coming from the gas ***ist. Kind of need the fans on though to keep the windscreen clear.

AFAIK there is no filter in the tank. Agree with Fahad don't think its the injectors. Where have you being getting your diesel lately? When you say the car went well for a short time, do you mean it ran ok then started to run badly again? Did Honda change the filter themselves and I wonder...

I think its green and white, but you can take the trim off around the boot lid and you'll get the reverse light cluster directly. I wired mine into the main loom on top of the drivers side rear wheel arch.

I have this with aftermarket ones. All that can really go wrong are faulty sensors, control unit or the beeper. I had the beeper go on one system, the control unit on another and the sensors on another! If you can find the control unit see if you can disconnect the sensors and see how that...

If its just for occassional top up, your local honda dealer should do a 1 litre castrol 0W30 pack for around £12 I think. This is considerably cheaper than any of the supermarkets or filling stations around here which are normally around £16 for 1 litre.

I got recall done a few months ago. But the lamps are still misting. Am I to go back and push for new headlamps? 2005 with 76k.

When trying to decide whether to go diesel or petrol I priced a conversion over here and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. I think I was saving in the order of £500 a year over the diesel including tax differences. But there were literally no petrol accords for sale over here...

Are you sure its the manifold? Check the exhaust to be sure its not something simplier. I had the "flexible" joint go on a car and you could see the smoke underneath it and it was also coming up at the back of the engine bay. Don't know about the world wide warranty.
