PAS Rack - Common across all Mk7s?

After an argument with a rain-filled pothole my PAS rack is knackered. The NS of the rack is pi**ing out fluid; it looks like the seal is gone and the arm is probably bent. I'm looking to source a second-hand rack, but want to check: Is the PAS rack common to both pre- and post-facelift Gen 7...

NSF Lower Suspension Arm - Which One?

Exactly that! I've used Holdcroft a few times and they're good, but for some bits there's no way they can match the after-market price. The only thing to beware of is poor quality pattern parts.

NSF Lower Suspension Arm - Which One?

Having looked at them both the upper arm does look most likely to bend of the two arms. Having looked into some reviews on-line I've decided to replace the upper arm to start with, using Delphi parts - they're cheaper than the Honda one, seem good quality and if it does turn out to be the...

NSF Lower Suspension Arm - Which One?

I'm only going from what the guys who did the Geometry check said - and they just said it was likely to be the LCA - they didn't say for sure, so I'll look into it - thanks.

NSF Lower Suspension Arm - Which One?

After an argument with a water-filled pothole, which my NSF tyre lost, I've noticed a the Accord now pulls to the left. When I checked the Geometry the castor on the NSF was out quite a bit and I was told it was probably the lower suspension arm, as apparently it bends easily when subjected to...

Any buying advice for quiet, durable tyres for motorway driving

This site has a lot of feedback that seems to be well founded. It's made me consider tyres i'd never have thought of for the Supra, and is useful for comparisons. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/

    Pink

I can only hope that's a vinyl wrap and will peel off once the owner gets rid of it! If not then I need some memory bleach quick!

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

Have you actually checked what you've used based on topping the tank up, or using the On Board Computer? If it's the OBC then I wouldn't believe it anyway, if not then it may be worth looking into - are your MAF/MAP etc all clean and gunge free?

    7th Gen

If the comparison is between an 05+ plate IS220d and a 2.2 CTDi then the difference should be significant. I test drove both before getting my Accord and the Lexus felt totally remote and woolly. I even went and found another just in case the first car I drove had some kind of mechanical...

    Help - Dealer overfilled oil

Quick Update to conclude this thread: I've just had a call from the senior Service Manager at Hendy Honda in Marsh Barton, Exeter to apologise, in a very genuine manner, for the overfill. The photo I provided, as well as the other information, was very useful to him and he is now dealing with...

P2004 - IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control problems

Personally at times I was moving away from the 'extra loving' towards the 'killing to death with fire' solution for mine! The problem is that if you do a lot of motorway miles it's very rare a petrol engine (with any decent performance) will add up financially, even factoring in the increased...

    Help - Dealer overfilled oil

In order - No change after cleaning and pre-EGR OFF Map; No the engine has not changed in note at all, apart from not hesitating.

Still have hesitation after FSV change

I tried to have a look using the Parkers promo photos, but the engine cover is in the way. From what I CAN see it looks like a completely different EGR valve, but I don't know if there's two of them. Bear in mind the DTEC is a very re-worked engine. This is why I think there's a problem with...

    Help - Dealer overfilled oil

And I had cleaned it out before. TBH it seemed to drive ok with the overfill, but there was still the hesitation. As said, that has now gone! :)

Still have hesitation after FSV change

It certainly has been designed that way for a reason: FSV 1 was a 470 part number, unlike the 480 the Accord has, and still had the in-line filter. FSV 2 was the same basic setup, but I couldn't get a part number off it. EGR 1 was plumbed in similarly to the Accord, but EGR 2 sat at the...

    Help - Dealer overfilled oil

Totally agree with you on that one - plus if they know you do that they're more likely to make sure they get it right.

Still have hesitation after FSV change

Well as per this thread: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/6347-premier-tuning-accord-i-ctdi-egr-delete-solution/ I have found a 'third way'! As I have posted there I am completely happy with the EGR off Map and it has totally solved the problem 100%. Considering the alternative solution...

    Help - Dealer overfilled oil

Actually I work away during the week so I could quite easily have used Salisbury as my local dealer - not now though.
