For those who have replaced condenser and dryer

I have no idea but when I opened the box there was a drier already bolted to it!! The company I bought it from said it doesn't come with one but it got sent directly from their supplier so maybe they decided to fit them. Got it regassed today and it does seem to work after it didn't...

    2.4 type s tourer exhaust

Glad you got it sorted. The smell is normal, I had it as well, thought my brakes were binding at first!

2.0 or 2.4 for short trips?

Same as my driving style and I went for the 2.4. From what I read the 2.4 is alot nicer to drive, more toys and only a couple of mpg worse than the 2.0L.

    Diagnosing Aircon Problems

Awesome thread, just helped me find a fault :) I fitted a new condenser yesterday and had it regassed earlier but the compressor wasn't kicking in, I thought I was looking at £££. Did the relay test and it clunked, so I swapped the compressor relay for the fan one and it works, was blowing...

    Rear Cambers

It's definitely a complex subject, there are alot of areas I can't grasp that well. WIM are one of the best (if not the best) places to use, they think outside of the box to try and find out what's happening and correct it. I don't think they would charge you to have a look at it, only if any...

For those who have replaced condenser and dryer

I've tried a few places now and they all say the same thing, either it's a dealer only part or they can import one, no supplier in the UK has the one I need. I'm wary about buying an import in case it doesn't fit. Why the hell did Honda have to make 2 different condensers for the same car!!

    Rear Cambers

This is what Tony at WIM said to me when I showed him your geo report. Have you checked the subframe yet for signs it's moved?

    Rear Cambers

From what I remember there was nothing wrong with the geometry report you put up, yes visually the wheel looks to have more camber but the figures say otherwise. If you don't have any odd tyre wear I wouldn't bother personally.

For those who have replaced condenser and dryer

Unfortunately it's not as easy as that, the one on ebay is for the other type of condenser. I already ordered one when I bought the condenser and they refunded me cos it's not the right one. The ebay one is for Honda part number 80351-SDA-A01, if you use the Delphi parts checker. I emailed...

    Not happy with the brakes

Hi mate, have you changed the lines yet, was there any improvement? If I press the pedal several times it makes no difference, they still feel soft but they do the job and stop the car. I replaced 3 calipers on my last car and I don't fancy doing it again, hopefully they just need a good...

For those who have replaced condenser and dryer

I have ordered a new condenser, the part number on mine is different to the one on the Lings site but they confirmed it's the same - 80110-SED-942. The number on my condenser is - A0110-SED-0030. Apparently Honda like changing parts numbers to confuse people! There are 2 condensers available...

    Not happy with the brakes

It's possible but the garage I use are pretty spot on and I think they would've bled them properly. I'm going to go down there this week and get them to take it for a test drive, I'm still not happy. This morning I pulled out of my drive and braked gently at the end of the road (doing 10mph)...

Spare wheel - what will fit?

I'm hoping to get a full size 16" wheel as a spare if I can find one locally at a reasonable price. I might consider a space saver but what size tyre should it be, do the ones from a Civic (or other Honda's) fit the Accord?

Brake Rewind Tool and Brake Caliper Pin Grease

I have the ebay tool kit, not used it yet but looks good. Anyone know what adapter you need to use for the Accord? I also use red rubber grease for the slider pins and copper grease for the back of the pads. The first thing I did on my tourer when getting it was stripping them down for a good...

Did you order new gaskets, bolts and nuts? You will probably have to cut the old ones off.

    Rear brake caliper

Refurbished calipers aren't expensive, try brakes international, its who I use when I need to replace calipers. Have you checked it's not the slider pins that are seized?

    Tracking

That's wrong, the Accord has adjustable front and rear toe. Don't waste money on tracking it's pointless. The rear thrust angle needs to be set first, then the front toe adjusted to this if you want the steering wheel straight. The wheel also needs to be braced before any adjustments are done to...

    2.4 type s tourer exhaust

I paid £260 from HH for the complete cat back system on my tourer, with free delivery. I was getting ridiculous quotes for a stainless system.
