    Underside corrosion

a lot of cars suffer in this country due to the constant damp and muddy roads and the salt spread during freezing temperatures. There are some good products to combat this but require intensive work. Used this on a sprinter I have (renowned for rusting) and it was great...

    Brown oil

I don't like brown oil, it's crystal clear golden brown going in fresh, then goes black normally after a few thousand miles.

    Common Faults? Try these first.

Had this a while back the old p00af, greased up the old turbo actuator arm and deleted the warning and been fine since.

    Common Faults? Try these first.

For fook sake, how complicated do cars have to be, it's getting ridiculous :rolleyes: I think it's about time for an older car with no ecus or sensors like a rover P6 3.5 V8

Leaky Injector Seal - 2006 Honda Accord ICTDI (N22a1 Engine)

I done this on my sprinter van. Get the engine temperature up to normal before attempting removal. If you loosen the injector clamp bolt so the clamp is loose but can't break free, then fire the engine up and the injector might pop loose. If that fails you may need an extractor tool. Then it's...

    Low mpg

I've been and picked up 500kg of coal for my multi fuel burner (no central heating, doh!) and no significant drop in mpg. Did look scarily cool on the back end. Brakes was the problem for my low mpg, took me ages to sort, ended up with new brake fluid and two new rear calipers.

    Low mpg

I'd sort the brakes first then re-evaluate, the binding may have gotten worserer and even spread to other calipers.

    Radiator f'ed?

Splash shield/undertray should be easy enough to remove, usually you'll find some fixings have become useless and need replacing so maybe pre-order these prior to removal. I've used products like radweld before to fix these type of problems, some people frown upon it but it works unless the...

    Car sale

2.2 es gt idtec 197k silver remapped by fahad dpf gone egr delete etc. goes well, some rust coming on but not much. Had 2 new calipers, discs and pads on the rear. 4 new tires last year. Rear suspension springs done. Replaced rear wheel bearing. Had regular oil and filter changes since owning...

    Rear o/s wheel arch repair/replacement

Those prices sound very reasonable. Insurance companies must use some ridiculously priced body repair shops as they are so quick to write a car off for minor damage.

    front brake upgrade

Never had cause to question the braking capability of my car, they've always been good (except the binding problem of course, but that's a different issue) Have you tried a complete brake fluid change?
