    car tax, what a joke.

Right Brian!! Better not tell them the tax rate for this in Ireland or they will think we are having a bargain. What ****es me off more than anything is the state of the roads, some surfaces are so bad in Southampton i am not sure they can be classified as roads at all.

    car tax, what a joke.

So, knowing my Subaru is due tax I went on line recently and taxed her up for the year..a gut wrenching £535 to the DVLA, funds of course which will be used for road improvements and other great causes! Anyway, I got my reminder from them shortly after and it quoted the figure of £515, I...

What other cars have people got/had

Apples and oranges here, if you want a ISF go for it but for the love of god dont go comparing to an IS250. Both are equally as reliable as one another but they are polar opposites.

What other cars have people got/had

AMG indeed, shame about the rest, in fact the engine itself is the highlight of the CL55. The suspension and electronics, well if they go wrong kiss your bank balance good bye Lexus IS250 is very good, its a step up from the Accord but its not very involving to drive and its pretty slow...

    Fuel guage stuck on full!

there is a fuel sener mentioned above for 70quid, seems like a good idea rather than faffing about with things and relying on articles from entirely different vehicles. there is a 14 day return also so a bit of a no brainer, if it doesnt work return it.

    Petrol or Diesel?

have heard tales from owners complaining of the rear view mirror rattling about, doesn't surprise me. I have heard these at car washes and the sound is about as agricultural you can imagine, no wonder Lexus dumped diesel and what was they thinking of putting a d4d engine into a IS250 chassis in...

    Petrol or Diesel?

IS220D are terrible cars, how anyone can like them beggars belief. I suggest you drive a IS250 or another 6 pot petrol, you will very quickly change your tone.

    Petrol or Diesel?

if you dont find 27-33 mpg good enough you need a diesel, any high performance petrol will hardly better that. Dont know how you could live with a diesel after a Type R however..........

    Differences between Tourer and Sedan

buy a petrol, unless you have silly tax or restrictions that force people into diesel.
